Parent Feedback – What Parents are saying…
Thank you so much for allowing us to attend your open evening at such short notice last week. We found it very interesting and very well planned out. We especially liked your "zero tolerance" policy, which our son seems to respond well to.
I would like you to know how impressed I am with the communications I have received from the teachers at your school.
Firstly, I want to single out Mr Edwards, who has always been helpful from day one.He has replied promptly to my emails and on one occasion telephoned to discuss a matter.
Yesterday I needed to check some test results with 3 different teachers.By the end of the day I had 3 replies back and infact Mr Walsh even took the trouble to telephone me in the evening.None of my queries were urgent, and I appreciate your teachers are extremely busy, so I was delighted to receive such quick responses.
We are so glad we chose Neville Lovett for our son's education, and would like to thank you and your staff.

I would just like to take this opportunity to say the production was excellent, the students were so confident and obviously thoroughly enjoyed what they were doing. You did fantastic work in coordinating and directing an extremely brilliant production. I was so proud of all of you. Well done and thank you once again.
Kind regards, Peter Limburn (Year 8 parent)
A big thank you for the fantastic show of hair spray. Well done to all who took part. (Year 7 parent)
I would just like to say how much we enjoyed the show last night. All the singers were amazing, especially Lauren. We saw her singing at the GCSE awards evening and thought she was excellent, but last night she was even better. We would like to thank you for all the effort and hard work you have put in, and send our congratulations to everyone involved for a wonderful show.
We can’t wait for next year’s!! Regards Samantha King Year 8 Parent
Dear Mrs Ameaux,
A huge thank you to you and the other members of staff for the fabulous time Katie had on the Chateau Beaumont trip. When she got home last night she was buzzing with all her adventures!
I really appreciate the commitment such a trip involves and the fact that you have all given up part of your half term to enable the students to participate in this.
The regular tweets were a great way of keeping in touch too – thank you!
Enjoy the remainder of your half term.
"Congratulations on the great Ofsted report! I was really pleased that all your hard work has been recognised. Enjoy the rest of the term. Best wishes."

Email received 3 May 2012 by Deputy Headteacher:
"I think that you and the other staff should be very proud at what you have achieved with the school. I know that a school is a team effort but it is teachers like yourself that inspire children, there is no doubt of the respect and admiration that the children have for you. Of all the teachers that Liam and Luke talk highly of you are without a doubt top of their list and it is easy for me to see why. I am pleased that they had the fortune of your tuition. Once again thank you." Year 11 parent
Year 7 Parents Evening 2 May 2012:
Email received 24 April 2012:
"Dear Mrs Powrie
I would like to say a very big thank you to yourself and the school for all the hard work that particular teachers have put in to help Jack throughout the year.
His progression with Portsmouth Football club would not have been possible without the schools support enabling him to have his days of for day release which enabled him to for fill his dream in becoming a Professional footballer.
I realize that Jack himself has also put in the hard work in but without the support from yourself and other teachers this would never have been possible.
Once again as a family I would like to say Thank you."
Year 8 Options Evening:
"I attended a really informative and helpful Options Fayre this week. I only spoke to 2 parents but both told me that the Fayre had actually resulted in their children changing their choices and making an informed decision based on what they had learnt that evening. Thank you to the school for organising this event."
Email received 8 March 2012:
"Thank you for taking the time to meet with my son and I today and show him round the school. As we were leaving the school a parent approached me stating that she had recently taken her child out of another school and moved them to Neville Lovett and the difference in her child was unbelievable (in a good way) it is nice to hear such positive stories from parents."
Email received 19 January:
Letter received January 2012:

Email 10 January 2012 (re: Parents Coffee afternoon with Headteacher on 6 January):
"I just wanted to send you and Mrs Powrie an email to say thank you from myself and my husband for the opportunity to attend the meeting on Friday afternoon. We found it very useful being able to talk about what are views about the school are and to hear the other parents points of views."
Email December 2011:
"I wanted to make it known how useful it is to now have the school newsletter emailed on a weekly basis. Whilst I try to take a keen interest in my daughter’s school it was difficult to remember to find time to log onto the website to keep updated. Having it sent via email means that it is sat waiting for me when I check my messages on an almost daily basis and it’s short, concise format makes it very easy to read. The content is to the point and informative.
Schools are not praised often enough so I hope this goes some way to letting you know how effective this initiative is. Many thanks and keep up the good work."
