Tickets now on sale for the school production

Dear Parents/Carers

January has been a very busy month here at Neville Lovett.  You may have seen the league tables in the press and our rise to 10th in the area resulted in BBC South Today contacting us to come and film at the school.  I would like to thank staff, students, governors and parents for your commitment to helping us reach our goal of outstanding.  

The exam season is well underway and revision days have taken place, sometimes on a Saturday, to help prepare students for these.  A group of 40 Year 11 students was taken to Oxford University, Trinity College, for an intensive revision day for Science.  Staff and students enjoyed the opportunity to visit this world famous university and a great deal of work was completed during the day.

Our Olympic Challenge to complete 2012 minutes of extra curricular activities is proving very popular with students and staff and Craig Gibbons, and Olympic hopeful in the Team GB swimming team this year kindly presented the first of the badges to students who have completed over 600 minutes.
